At the age of 17, Elon Musk immigrated to Canada to attend the Queen's University. He has dual bachelor's degrees in physics and economics.
In 1995, he co-founded a software company called - Zip2 which he later sold to Compaq in 1999 for $307 million. This was the first major financial success of Musk.
He also co-founded an online payment company called PayPal which he sold to eBay in 2002 for $1.5 billion.
In 2002, a revolutionary space travel company called SpaceX was founded by Elon Musk who invested almost all of his money into this project.
Elon Musk co-founded a clean energy and an electric vehicle company called Tesla in 2003. He eventually became a successful CEO of the company.
In October 2022, Elon Musk legally became the owner of the popular social media platform - Twitter.
With the massive success of Tesla, SpaceX, and Twitter to this day, Elon Musk amassed huge amount of money which is almost $300 billion, thus, making him the wealthiest man on the planet.
