He completed his education at Queens College in New York City. After, completing his studies Jose wanted to reach for the stars in show business and achieve bigger things in life. With a successful career in the industry for about 3 decades, Jose gained global recognition as a distinct entertainment executive.

However, his fame came to a tragic end on 20th August 1989, when he was killed by his own two sons for reasons that are not only horrible but unimaginable to be associated with Jose Menendez.

The Truth Behind The Jose Menendez Sexual Assault Allegation

Jose Menendez’s death baffled and amazed the entire globe and not just the United States of America. The big and famous name of the Hollywood entertainment industry was shot to death by his sons – Lyle and Erik, along with his wife Kitty who was also murdered along with him. The shocking murder case unfolded in Beverly Hills California.

The notorious Menendez brothers’ themselves admitted to the killing of their parents. During the ongoing case in the early 1990s, the boys were of age 18 and 21 years old only. In the court hearings which preceded the murder, the two brothers accused their father of molesting and raping them for years.

In their court hearings, both the brothers pleaded that they were under severe mental, physical, and emotional trauma from the abuse and pain inflicted by their father when since the brothers were only 6-7 years old. Their mother never believed or supported her children’s claims. This led to a massive grudge and resentment in the Menendez brothers’ who took such a drastic and massive step to get rid of their alleged tormentor their father.

To this day, however, the allegations levied on the late Jose Menendez by his two sons, have not been proven. And Erik and Lyle are serving their life sentences in the prison.

Roy Rossello’s Claim Of Being Abused By Jose Menendez

In the latest docuseries being aired on the streaming platform Peacock called Menendez + Menudo: Boys Betrayed, a former member of the popular and iconic Latin boy band ‘Menudo’, Roy Rossello has accused Jose Menendez of unlawfully violating his rights by sexually assaulting him on several occasions.

The shocking twist in the recent allegation is the involvement of substance abuse. Roy accused Jose Menendez of deceitfully drugging him. This was followed by his rape by the famous deceased executive Jose in the 1980s when Rossello was only 14 years old.

Addressing Jose Menendez, Roy said “That’s the man here that raped me… That’s the pedophile.”

This is the second public and vocal allegation pressed on Jose Menendez after the same charges were claimed by his two sons. In response to Roy’s tragic and dreadful assault story, Erik Menendez (one of the sons and killer of Jose Menendez) said in a recent interview It’s sad to know there was another victim of my father, you know I always hoped and believed that one day the truth about my dad would come out…”

Roy’s allegation has once again fuelled the claims of the Menendez brothers about being assaulted by Jose for years. Viewers are wondering about the possible developments this might lead to in the infamous case of the Menendez Brothers.
