Kevin Spacey is Not Guilty. The 64-year-old actor has been appearing in court to prove his innocence amidst the sexual assault charges against him. Spacey was allegedly blamed for 4 sexual assault charges from the time frame of 2001 to 2013. The magnitude of certain statements was so major that they could have cost the actor a lifetime punishment.
However, after proper consideration and thinking, the jury of the Kevin Spacey Trial has come to a unanimous decision. The hearing took place on the 26th of July 2023. The actor also celebrated his 64th Birthday on the very same day. Thus receiving the message that you are free on your birthday is definitely a special occasion.
Kevin Spacey Reacts To Court’s Decision
As soon as the verdict was out, Spacey broke down. The actor was in tears as he hugged and spoke to everyone who was his constant support. Kevin also proceeded to thank the 13 jury members who took 2 whole days to come to a decision. It is quite a moment to feel the peace of a free life and we hope Spacey is feeling the exact same emotions.
Spacey ran out to his manager Evan Lowenstein for a hug. Why? Because throughout his entire up-and-down journey of Spacey, his manager stuck beside him. He became his constant support and backbone during the trial.
Spacey also hugged his legal team, without whom this entire court issue would not have been solved. The 64-year-old let out a huge sigh of relief after the verdict came out. He walked out of the court teary-eyed, shaking hands with the jury, and even kissed two security guards on their cheeks.
Spacey Addressed Reporters Just After Verdict
A string of reporters were anticipating Spacey’s appearance after the verdict came out. And the actor was elated to speak to them. “I imagine that many of you can understand that there’s a lot for me to process,” he proclaimed. He continued, “I’m enormously grateful to the jury for having taken the time to examine all of the evidence.” The actor‘s gratitude was shown in his actions. He also stated that he is extremely humbled before he started his journey towards his abode.
The magnitude of the charges applied on Spacey was so intense, that it could’ve led the actor towards severe punishments. Spacey was allegedly blamed for sexually assaulting 4 men. However, the actor’s pieces of evidence stated that everything that went on during his relationship with those men was all consensual. The jurors took their time to analyze the shreds of evidence and moved forward with the verdict.
