Some 19 years old boy attacked Def Leppard’s drummer Rick Allen outside Four seasons. YES, a 19-year-old boy attacked Allen, but why? Def Leppard is an English rock music band from Sheffield since 1976. They were successful in the early 1980s and early 1990s. Their albums were in the Top 15 in the UK, US, Canada, and Australia.

A 19-year-old random boy, Max Edward Hartleyattacked Allen outside the Four Seasons, where he stayed to perform a concert in town later. Police reported that Allen was smoking a cigarette outside and Hartley attacked Allen by running out from the pillar where he is been hiding.

According to police, Max also attacked another woman who tried to help Allen and then Hartley ran away. Hartley was arrested for breaking windows in the nearby hotel and also for some theft and abusing elderly and disabled people. Allen wanted to prosecute Hartley but he bailed out the next day.

In 1984 December, Allen while traveling with his then-girlfriend, Mariam Barendsen in his car in the countryside a few miles from Sheffield, had an accident when he hit a stone wall and the car went into the field nearby. Allen’s left arm was injured severely and doctors fixed his arm initially but later due to infection, he lost his left arm.
