Spider-Man is a prominent superhero appearing in various American comic books and cinematic creations of Marvel. The fictional character was created by Stan Lee. The superhero first appeared in the comic book ‘Amazing Fantasy’ back in August 1962.

‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is an upcoming American animated superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Miles Morales as Spider-Man. The film is set in a multiverse of alternate universes called the Spider-Verse. In this animated creation, Miles goes on an adventure across the multiverse with a new team of Spider-People, known as the Spider-Force. The upcoming film is scheduled for release in the United States on June 2, 2023.

Spider-Girl

After retiring from the role of Spider-Man, Peter Parker focuses his time on raising his daughter, May Parker who later develops powers of her own and becomes the ‘Spider-Girl’. In the upcoming animation, she will appear as the infant daughter of Peter Parker.

Madame Web

A human girl named Julia Carpenter undergoes a government experiment in which she is granted powers and abilities similar to those of Spider-Man. She eventually adopts a new name for herself called ‘Madame Web’.

Spider-Man Unlimited

‘Spider-Man Unlimited’ was an animated series of the 1990s. However, it never rose in popularity due to the massive success of other animated shows of that time. This version of Peter Parker will be making an appearance in ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’.

Spider-Man: Marvel Mangaverse

Marvel Mangaverse is an early 2000s creation that is home to Peter Parker who is the last ninja of the Spider Clan. This same ninja is all set to make an appearance in the upcoming animated film.

Lady Spider

Peter Parker’s well-known Aunt May designs a four-armed spider harness and web shooters for herself, on Earth. She uses these inventions to become Lady Spider, who joins the Multiverse’s Spider-Army to combat the dark forces.

Bombastic Bag-Man

Following a separation from a collegial alien harboring in his body, Peter is left without a costume. As he travels across the city, he utilizes a brown paper bag as a mask which earns him the title of the Bombastic Bag-Man.

Spider-Monkey

In the Marvel Multiverse, Earth-8101 is referred to as the Marvel Apes universe. A counterpart of Peter Parker exists on the earth of this universe and possesses the powers of both a spider and a monkey.

‘The Spectacular Spider-Man’  to this day, is one of the best animated Spider-Man series. The episodes in the series were inspired by some of the best stories of Spider-Man in comic books.

In Marvel Comics, after the death of the real Peter Parker, another character called Otto Octavius attempts to prove that he is the superior Spider-Man. However, his claims and falsehood eventually come to light.

Scarlet Spider

Scarlet Spider is a clone of Peter Parker created by Marvel supervillain – Jackal. Although the clone is grown in a lab to wreak havoc and fulfill Jackal’s malicious intentions, Scarlet Spider instead chooses to become a hero and fight for good against evil.

Spider-Man India

Spider-Man: India, is a limited comic book series revolving around the fictional character of Pavitr Prabhakar. It is a retelling of Spider-Man’s story in an Indian setting. In the upcoming film Prabhakar will become a member of the Spider-Force.

Insomniac’s Spider-Man

Spider-Man games created by Insomniac are considered to be one of the best depictions of Peter Parker ever. This gaming version of Spider-Man is visible in the trailer of ‘Across the Spider-Verse’.

Japanese Spider-Man

Takuya Yamashiro is a Japanese version of Spider-Man who is a motorcycle racer and the pilot of a giant robot mechanism. Takuya has his origins in the Japanese live-action Spider-Man series that were created in the late seventies by Toei.

Spider-Punk

Hobart or Hobie Brown is a British punk version of Spider-Man. Hobie Brown loves his electric guitar and uses it as a weapon to fight evil in this storyline of the comic books.

Spider-Woman

Jessica Drew is the real name of the female superhero version Spider-Woman. She is a motorcycle enthusiast and during the plotline of the upcoming film, she will be portrayed as a pregnant woman.

Spider-Man Or Peter Parker

Jake Johnson’s version of Peter Parker became a father at the end of the prequel of ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’. In this upcoming release, what role he’ll play is not yet certain.

Spider-Man 2099

Spider-Man 2099 who is also known as Miguel O’Hara in the multiverse, is all set to appear in a very crucial role in ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’. He is the leader of Spider-Force, which is a group consisting of various Spider-Men from alternate realities.

Spider-Gwen

Gwen Stacy or Spider-Gwen is also known as Ghost-Spider in the multi-universe of the Spiderman franchise.  Gwen somehow manages to keep in touch with Miles even after returning to her original dimension.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Miles Morales will star as the protagonist in ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’. In this film, Morales will be portrayed in an older version, and his conflict with Spider-Man 2099 will set the tone of the entire plot of the film.
